麥正

麥正原籍廣東省中山縣小杬鎮。1932年生於澳門。1952年到香港生活，開始創作漫畫。曾當記者、報刊及雜誌撰稿人，又用不同之筆名撰寫漫畫小說及雜文於各大報刊。加入<漫畫世界>擔任助理編輯。後來創辦<漫畫周報>及<漫畫日報>，又參加了戰後第一屆<香港漫畫展>。

1972年，辦<正園花園>，開始園藝生涯。同時在各報刊撰寫園藝文章，並在電視台及電台講解園藝心得。其後，應<香港中父大學校外課程>之邀，主講<園藝課程>，凡十餘年。

同是1972年，亦加入庚子畫會， 開始創作中國畫，並與畫友暢遊大江南北，進行寫生，師法自然。回港後，與畫友合辦<速寫展>。之後，與庚子畫友作多次聯展，又應美國新聞處(香港)之邀，舉辦了<麥正花奔寫生展>。參加了廣東省美展、第五、六及七屆全國美展。並創辦<滙流畫社>，擔任首屆會長。

1992年移民加拿大後，全心繪畫。曾辨多次師生展及畫展，且屢獲好評。

麥正:由漫畫，而園藝，再國畫，精彩人生。安省中國美術會常務董事。

Mak Ching's name is Tal Huen, A native of Xiaolan Town, Zhong Shan county, Guangdong, he was born in 1932 in Macau and was educated there, he came to HongKong. in 1952 and started caricatures, fictions drawing. He has been a reporter and wrote for newspaper and magazine. His caricatures, fictions and essays appeared on various papers under different pseudonyms. He was an assistant editor of World of Caricature and started Caicature Weekly and Caicature Daily. After the World War, he participated in the first caricature exhibitionof HongKong. In 1972, he established Ching Yuen Garden and started his life of gardening. Since then he has been writing on hortculture for a number of papers and speaking on the subject on television and the radio. He has also been lecturing on hortlculture for over a decade at the invition of the department of Extra-mural Studies of the Chinese Unversity of HongKong. He joined the Gengzl Artists Association in the same year and started Chinese painting.

He travelled all over China with his fellow painters and took nature as his model for sketching. On their return, they put their sketches on show. He held several joint exhibitions with fellow artists at Gengzl, showed his works at the " Exhibition of Flower Sketches by Mak Ching " organized by the United State Information Agency, participated in the Art Exhibition of Guangdong and the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh National Art Exhibition. He is the founder and first President of Converge Artists Association.
